Awesome write up.
Glad you didn’t roll or break anything. And thanks for representing the Bronco community well. Unlike someone else who plasters Jeep-eater on the side and proceeds to make an ass of himself.
While our throttle control needs improvement, it’s nothing like “mash on it until you start bouncing uncontrollably then continue smashing it hoping something will change.” 🤦🏼‍♂️

Seems the build successfully left a positive impact on what Broncos are capable of. It got a lot of attention in town and we met a couple that was there for Offroadeo. Showed them all our mods and after chatting for awhile we extended our stay by a day to take them on Hell’s Revenge. Started the day with. Forscan lesson by adding rock crawl to their wildtrak and the other common improvements we all enjoy. (Brought the computer in case something happened on Pritchett that needed cleared to get out of limp mode. Then decided we should wait on Pritchett until we’re more proficient with the handling)

We might have Brawndo and Bonerax stickers, but “jeep eater” is as dumb as the driver. We briefly considered “jeep lover” or “when I grow up I want to be a jeep” but didn’t want it to be confused as some kind of tribute to him.

Just glad you not sugar coating the steering. I have issues turn 37s couldn't imagine trying to turn 40s. Come on hydro steer!
Certainly a limitation. Airing up the front will help but not sure to what extent. Will probably drop down to 38’s on the next set of tires

The climb out

Nicely done (y) . Gear reduction seems to be working for you 🤠

Glad your spotter took you up the right line. When you are there, It looks like you need to hug the wall but you'll find yourself slammed in a hole & up against the canyon wall. The Jeep guy spotting me that day insisted @NORCALGXP & I take his line which I knew was wrong, but there was no convincing him & I knew I would need his help later for which I have a nice dent in my engine skid from when he dropped me on a large split shelf on the other side just past the Z turn going back that I had climbed just fine on my own 😏.

Sometimes it's best to go your own way 🤠

Great write up. Good to hear some one else bring up two footed trail breaking I don't know if that many people know about it. Cliffhanger challenging trail. Almost made it out broke a tierod was almost back to the trail head.

My question is....if one used 20" diameter wheels (to clear portals and brakes) ...Could a different offset be used (like +100) with out the rim or tire interference with upright where it meets UCA???? (near upper bull joint) Seems this would correct the 3+" of extra scrub radius...and bring the track width back to near OEM numbers as well?

I was trying to find 20” beadlock wheels with as much positive offset as possible but anything (that I could find) currently being manufactured is all zero offset. Left a message with a company Rock Krawler suggested and they never got back to me. I’m not sure if +76.2 would be possible and still clear the upright but if a company was found that was willing to do it I believe Quinn has templates he can send them to verify fitment. I know Tibus has +55mm but they are 17” and are made to clear the factory upright. Won’t work with 74Weld.

+76mm offset gonna be looking like a dually front wheel 😂

Not deep enough to continue digging after realizing how much custom wheels would cost

So there is a breaking point  😁
I’m not even interested in the new 74Weld wheels with how much they cost. Would be nice to gain +15mm offset and save on weight but for five grand I’ll stick with the stock wheels and conventional beadlocks
