Replaced the blue steering wheel stripe with a matte black as the blue color was just didn't match with other blue accents. I really want a gray stripe but difficult to match the steering wheel gray.

Redline Hood Struts installed. Wish these were stock from the factory. The mounting bolts were a bit difficult to reach and secure the brackets.

Literary 8 minutes this morning to install a LOD transmission skid plate. Must be upgraded welds because they were beefy like done with arc welder and not mig.

I took the top completely off for the first time. In total maybe 30 mins, the hardest part was removing the OEM roof rack & needing an extra set of hands. Less than 10 mins to reinstall (minus the OEM roof rack which will stay off for a few days).

I so wish @Ford Motor Company had designed the roll cage in a way that allows for the permanent installation of a Spiderweb Shade (or equivalent) without interfering with the panel latches. Taking off the panels in the summer in the Southwest is suicide, unless you want a hole burned in your skull. Jeep got this right, Ford did not.

Installed a Bimini shade from Amazon. Works very well even on the highway

Can you leave that on when you put the panels back? Can you install without taking the hard top off?

Installed the “Don’t Steal My F’n Cooler” mod. The blue matches the BD trim too!

Wait, the 4x4 road to Mt. Washington in Nevada is now graded? Last time I drove it 5+ years ago it was a series of 3-point hairpin turns up the switchbacks with hair-raising exposed dropoffs. Or is this a different Mt. Washington?

Well did a small upgrade? Daughter scraped my front fender on the garage door. So went with some kdb fenders.
Cleaned the fenders with total awesome cleaner then alcohol pad and then adhesive promoter. Before installing the flairs I don't think they look to bad on a 2 door sasquatch package.

I've been thinking about getting these but I want to keep my mud flaps. I see you did not re-install yours? Will you be keeping them off or modifying them?
