Hello,

I have a 2023 Raptor and have a house that has the standard height garage. When I park in the garage, my antenna hits the garage door. It’s actually nice because its almost a warning that I need to pay attention haha

I am planning on, or want to put KC Pro 6 50 on the Raptor. About how much height is added and will I still be able. To park in my garage? Has anyone had issues with this? I can’t remodel and I will not park outside.

Thank you

How high is your garage door opening to the rubber bottom strip when opened?

Remember the door is adjustable and you may be able to gain several inches of opening travel..

good luck...

The KC Gravity bar is well below the top of the antenna and only a couple of inches above the roof line. Here are a couple of pics for you of it on my Braptor:

This is why I kept the stock Antenna. If you hit it on something, you are near your clearance. I forgot how much it is. It could be 5 inches or so. Whatever the number is, just know you are close.

Feel free to post more pics, I want to add this later this year. Did you install it yourself or what?

Yup - I do all my own mods. If I can’t do it, I don’t mod it (or I learn how to do it).

This is not a difficult one at all. Remove 2 plastic accessory caps at top of windshield. Remove 2x 10mm nuts on each side. Place light bar mounts over exposed bolt studs and reinstall 2 nuts each side. The light bar come pre-assembled so you just need a helper to hoist it onto the mounts you just installed and then tighten a nut on each end of the bar that attaches it to the mounts you just installed. There are a few different options for wiring.

On my previous 2021 Badlands, I followed the Bronco Accessory Installation Guide and drilled through the roof header and ran the wires into the vehicle across the windshield header and down the A-pillar behind the interior trim. I grounded it in the passenger footwell on an existing ground point and used the existing, pre-wired non-powered Aux circuit for the positive lead and then cross-connected it under the hood on the firewall with the bundle of existing powered circuits. (For this light bar, bee sure to use the 30amp wire - for the Badlands it was Aux 1, Braptor is Aux 3).

However, on the Braptor, i wired it differently and simply ran the wire down the groove between the window frame & glass (silicone to keep it in place - pro tip: use painters tape on each side of the wire to ensure easy clean up) and passed it into the engine bay under the cowl and then made positive & negative connections at the firewall by the Aux pigtails.

Here’s a head on pic for ya…

I am months away as well, but I am either going on the windshield or bumper. That bumper pic looks nice. I would be interested in pics on the wiring in the groove.
