Okay. I need some advice. Thanks in advance.
I took my 2022 Badlands out this weekend and bagged it pretty hard: mostly brutal dirt roads but also a little mud. Not much mud, just a little here and there. Pic attached. (It got worse than this but not THAT much... maybe twice the mud.)
Had my fun, driving home, and then I got FIVE flashing service lights: 4x4, hill descent, swaybar, ABS and AdvanceTrac.
So, I took it to Ford that day. It sat there all the next day and they did nothing. Way to go Ford. Typical.
So I talked to the service advisor and he said he talked to the electrician and this is what he said, literally, "The problem is the radar sensors in the front of the vehicle. (I have the basic package, not even the mid, the basic!) So, when these radar sensors get muddy or out of line, they send bad signals which (apparently) affects all these other systems." His words, not mine.
So, I ask, how to fix it. Clean the sensors and re-position them, he says.
But, I say, this vehicle was MEANT to go into the mud. Is Ford saying, "Our commercials look great but don't actually do this because your Bronco will die...."?

Then I ask how to prevent this from happening again.... Shrug.
SO, is this right? And if so, or not, why all the codes and how the heck do I prevent this again? Gawd, right now I wish Honda made a Bronco.
Thanks!
