I recently installed the DV8 Spec Series bumper on my 2024 Badlands SAS with Lux Package. Long story short, the instructions are not great and at the end I was left with qty 2 connectors not connected to anything (qty 1 driver side, qty 1 passenger side). The connectors are part of the front parking sensor wiring harness but I don't remember disconnecting them and have no idea where they connect. As far as I can tell, everything is working fine after the install.

Any idea what these connectors are for?

Did you have the mod bumper? If so, probably for fog lights. You can see they have plugs in the connector to seal them off.

based on the dirt on the connectors looks like they were never connected to anything

I have the spec series but not lux, just high on my 23 BL. I don’t recall that connector. Was going to suggest ACC but can’t imagine only two wires on such a harness. I think the other guys right, fog lights if you didn’t have em from factory?

A handy pigtail for you to connect your new fog / driving lights that you haven’t bought yet.

Ok, perfect. I'm pretty sure it's for the fog lights. Thanks guys!

I thought they were probably for the fogs since I didn't have any installed from the factory (modular bumper) but I wanted to be extra sure I didn't forget something, especially safety related.

If you get fog lights for your bumper, then just plug them up to those connectors & all you need is a new headlamp switch with fog light capability & you can save your AUX switches for other goodies! The entire thread is on this site.

I had a capable bumper with fogs when I bought my spec series, but have all of my lights wired to an aux beam, including the DV8 fogs I went with when I bought the spec series. For the price I think the elite cubes from DV8 are great! I have em in the fogs and on the pillars:
