once those BOTH break-in......about 2 weeks or so of listening.....then you will re-adjust again. And at that point you should be floored by the quality difference :)

Needed some connectors to install next week.
@CarGuy - where did you put those Hertz 6.5’s ? In the kick panels or are for those out back in the pods ? Also do you have the factory B&O amp ?

Those are the 4” speakers. Putting them in the dash and rear pods.

My 4x 100.3’s arrived and I’m pairing them with hertz c165L’s for the which are supposedly a much lower range woofer.

I also picked up both 300hz and 600hz bass blockers for the 100.3’s.

I haven’t decided if I want to put one of the 4” in the center dash or put both in the rear pods. I usually don’t care about the rear sound stage.

Im saving the sub for last. I may want to replace the amp at the same time and haven’t decided on keeping the stock sub or going with a tailgate enclosure. Space is a premium in a 2dr.

I’m holding off on the bass blockers to see how they sound first.

Good that you got BOTH sets of bass blockers....different tastes and volume preferences (y) You can always return them :)

Check out the new Gearshade subwoofer for the B&O system - https://www.gearshade.com/product/bronco-subwoofer-square/
Incredible sound from the L7T8 square sub. It’s a 2 ohm sub and if you use the Kicker Key 500 with a bass knob, it’s phenomenal. Grab a harness and amp combo from Joe at PlugnPlay - he makes the harness ready to connect right to the amp.

Hmmm.....I wonder if the JL AUdio 500.1 Amp + LC2i would fit on that box.......

I wouldn’t add any bass blockers - the B&O amp is already crossed over at the right frequencies.
Oh right.....if he does have the B&O system, then they are all properly crossed-over.

So this speaker isn't ideal for the center speaker? Are you all leaving the center speaker stock?

I tried the Hertz in the center along with the corners and found that the center dominates and threw everything off. I switched back to the PRV midrange woofer mentioned earlier with a 300hz bass blocker. Not sure if the blocker did anything of note. However, others have used the Hertz for all three and been pleased.

That would be my expectation as I don't see why more capable aftermarket speakers would need bass blockers when the crappy factory speakers don't.
