very nice
It sucks pretty bad having to pull the spare off, but now that it's installed I dont think I'll have to do it often. I installed an over tire cargo rack at the same time so maybe it's just that whole experience ha ha

Mine is just stuck to the tailgate window. I have never taken the hard top off and can say with absolute confidence that never will.

Stay away from this one... It's too big and requires film changes to keep it ready; not to mention It's nearly impossible to mount on the dash.

Any folks have experience with the dash cam offered via Ford in their aftermarket / accessories site? I have some Ford Pass points burning a hole in my pocket.

I take it that you don’t do a 5-tire rotation?

I do but only every oil change which is maybe every 6-9months. I guess"often" for me is weekly or monthly
Understand. I've been doing a 5-tire rotation (using local tire shop) on the wife's previous '21 & now '23 bronco every 3k miles so roughly 5 rotations/year.

I use a VanTrue Nexus N4 Pro with GPS mount. It’s not hardwired (but could be) as I just used the USB on the dash to power it. A 500GB SD card can hold 10hours of video. I’m only recording with front and rear facing interior camera. I was too lazy to install the back camera.

got a piece of sheet metal, bent and painted it and used the accessory point on the rear bar. Ran the cable inside the plastic along the C pillar to the floor to the front then up the A pillar back to the camera.

<Edited to add camera view>
Decent visibility out the back, washed out right now because of my bright white garage door directly behind the vehicle/ in front of me.

I have the Viofo (A129) Pro DUO, hard wired to the under dash fuse box for 24 hour motion detection recording. I second the PITA access via wifi, basically can only do it from my android if the vehicle off as my phone wants to fight to go back to the bronco wifi.

Nearly completely hidden from view in the front, and I bent up a piece of aluminum to mount the rear camera on the B-pillar cross bar.

I've had previous versions of the Viofo cameras and they have been reliable thus far.
New Bronco owner here, (8/22/24)
I am looking for a camera with 24/7 motion detection monitoring/recording with sound capabilities to watch my Bronco when I am not around it, just in case. Would the one you suggested above do what I need? Thanks in advance.
