Picked my steed up today after one week at the local Ford service shop. Thought I'd share a pic of the details spelled-out on the receipt. At least it was all Warranty no-charge including an oil & filter change.
So my 2023 2.7 with bit over 5,000 miles suddenly makes a terrible racket "dieseling" noise on cold startup. Did read through this thread and near sure it's the cam phaser thing. Called dealer and got a service appt on Mon. July 29. Not happy waiting but this seems to be how vehicle service...
Best win-win (for me) was installing a 4k video rearview mirror with forward-facing camera built-in and rearward camera mounted on spare tire stem. Gorgeous, bright, wide-angle live view of what's happening behind the vehicle while loop-recording both fwd/rear views nonstop.

This is Ford's OEM Tube Doors for...

Here's the order summary. Over $70k MSRP but tick under $65 Invoice. With X-Plan likely around $63K. Will walk-away if I cannot find another grand in there somewhere to negotiate downward.
Yeah, that's considerably more than most any configured Bronco except perhaps the FE pricing.
Staying in the Ford family but decided to go a more traditional route... '21 Ford F-150 Lariat Sport FX4 Supercrew with new 3.5-Hybrid and 7.2 kWatt onboard power.
Reasoning:

- I can pay it off...
