I guess I need to look past what the mudflaps look like and get some. It's so hard though. Got any recommendations?
I bought the Mabett ones on Amazon. That’s them with non Sasquatch flares. They’re probably same width as your flares.

Leave it be... it's very capable as is.. The mud flaps was a good suggestion tho., or you could add a CAI ,louder exhaust, lift kit, different shocks ...and wonder why it wont pass inspection, wanders all over the road, and eats CV joints.

Great choice, and welcome! Mods really depend on what you want to do with it! Fortunately the Bronco platform is extremely modular and easy to work on.

I really like DV8 Offroad, I’ve put a lot of their gear on my rig. If you want to check it out, I’ve done my best to make sure everything is hyperlinked in case one comes across something they like:

My first month's spends were:
1. Mud flaps (front & back)
2. Screen saver
3. Keyfob
4. Interior lights
5. Hood struts
6. Rockslide G3 Step Slider (spouse & kids pleaser)
7. Rustoleum Rust Reformer (for steel under the body, take a look, you'll understand)
8. Printed Owner's manual
9. D-Ring Shackles
10. Twin Air Compressor & hoses

It's not hard to put $20k into your rig. Just don't over-invest. You must have a realistic expectation on how long you will own your Bronco. When it 's time to trade/sell it, you get a nickel for every enhancement dollar you spent.

Congrats.

My interior is at 87 decibels at 80 mph with my roof rack and tent. Hardtop with Luxury package.

Without the tent it was 85.

Congrats. However you will want some steps. Seats won’t hold up to sliding out onto ground. You want your weight off side bolster when exiting.

Inspection? What’s that? 🤔

wow it got that much quieter? That's wild.

Very interested in trying some very mild overlanding. Not sure how easy it is to remove everything when you're done though. We sure do like riding with the top off haha.

I bought the Rough Country e-boards and put them on this last weekend. May not be the most offroadish decision, but I do like the look when they're up. We will see how they hold up.

I think you read my post wrong.

But my RTT only added a few decibels to the noise, but the noise is less annoying.

To me the Bronco is too damn loud.

The mods you'll want can be very different depending on how you'll use it. Do you plan on building a mall crawler or do you plan on off-roading it? If you plan on off-roading it then to what degree?

Well funny story - I actually read it on your thread where you said that the RTT made it quieter haha. But yeah, I defintely read that wrong lol.

Basic mods for Texas:

- Mud flaps and/or lower quarter panel protection. Came across these the other days. You will get chips if you don't do something if you go anywhere near rocks (like caliche roads).
- The hood protector with the bump. Really keeps the bugs off half the windshield. Also helps with some rocks.
- If you'll be out in the country, consider getting the front and rear panel protectors; here and the roof is where you'll get trail stripes.
- Hood raisers; I have the Redline ones, if you get in the engine compartment, you'll likely want them.

If you're going to off road:

- A decent rock rail/sliders.
- The missing plates (don't recall which ones).
- An OnX subscription. If you're only a few hours away from Arkansas, you got several trails and parks not far away. Also, OnX has a lot of great discounts.
- Something for the front sway bar. I'd recommend RockJock AntiRocks, Boss 4x4 Walker Links or at least a fast release.
- Limb raisers if you're out in the country a lot.
