So has anyone figured out how to permanently disable the auto start/stop feature with their Bronco? This feature is so annoying and is really unnecessary.

Until ProCal gets approved - the external devices like AutoStop linked above are the most reliable way. I don’t know if it’s working on Fordscan with the ‘24s or not - it was hit or miss on the ‘23s.

A) It's not annoying, it's barely even noticeable
B) It is, in fact, necessary for today's emission/economy standards. Manufacturers wouldn't spend the money to implement it if they didn't need to
C) There are numerous ways to disable it which have been beat to absolute death on this forum and internet wide

I tried several things including forscan and was never able to turn it off. As far as it being barely noticeable.... so is a mosquito...It IS really annoying and I'm sure will cause unnecessary wear and tear in the long run. I finally went for the eliminator posted above and problem solved. Most of the programmers available will turn it off as well.

Mine has been disabled with the start/stop eliminator since 300 miles. Just crossed 22K. No issues running it and it’s always on.

I too hate auto stop/start. Unnecessary EPA BS.

For those with the tow package you can get a cheap trailer connect plug kit (or an old left over). Use the flat plug in your receiver connector and voila' no ass. Apparently if you're towing it's disabled.
