so i had all of the stereo in my base replaced, LCi6 for integration, focal 2-ways in the dash and lower kick panels, and focal 6.5s in larger rear pods, along with 2 JLaudio 10w6v3s in a prefab sealed box. For amps i am running alpine hda-v90 for the focals and alpine r2-a150m for the subs.

so here's the question, after i park the bronco the computer (i assume it's the computer) keeps turning on and off (like keeping the vehicle in "ready" mode?) which causes the amps to turn on and off and that sometimes makes the subs pop. does this happen to anyone else? Is there a certain time it takes to finally make the computers go into sleep mode? I don't think it happens all the time but do hear the subs pop a few min after turning it off. I can also see the amp lights going on and off as it sits for a few min when first turned off. this stops eventually right? or if i left it sitting for a few days would the battery be dead?

is my only option to put a manual on / off switch to the amps? is the issue with the LCi6 integration thing? maybe there should be some delay on that?

Are you relying on signal sense for LC6i turn on, or do you have a dedicated accessory 12v switched line for remote in?

Probably using the GTO feature, which activates when the LCi6 detects a signal on the front channel. I have an AudioControl DSP amplifier, and use GTO as well. In my experience, it stays on for less than a minute (probably less than 30 seconds), then powers down. No speakers popping on my end, though.

No need to worry about it draining your battery.

yes i believe signal sense for the LC6i. i guess my main concern was the battery dying if the vehicle sat for a week or 2 but it sounds like that shouldn't be an issue.

Related question where is the stereo ā€onā€ hot to switch the amps? I am having the same problem with my amps…

You both are best off to use a Fuse Tap/Add A Circuit. Find a switched line in the fuse panel at the drivers left knee, run that line as a remote turn on to the appropriate Processors/Amps.

I suspect that the Headunit is looking for more line load than what the LC6i provides… Audio Controls newer products (LC2i Pro) have switchable resistances to mimic speaker impedance as well as various options for signal sense.
