Did you get a new Transmission or Synchro? Is the grinding gone and if so how many miles on the fix?

This post is a data gathering post.

If you have an automatic transmission, it doesn't concern you!

If you have a manual tranmission and don't hear any noises coming from it, it doesn't concern you!

If you have a manual transmission that is making noise but you haven't addressed the noise, it doesn't concern you!

This post/poll is only for people that have a manual transmission equipped Bronco that had/has grinding noise and has been fixed or got either of the fixes done and is not fixed.

Original Post:
I'm just starting this Poll to see if it's a good idea to get it in or just wait till the last minute to fix if no "real" fix comes.

Please only reply if you have had your Bronco in for either fix.

Probably should have specified this is for the manual transmission.
Hopefully commen sense and logic will prevail! I haven't seen a 200+ page thread on automatics grinding.

You must be new here.

By here I mean life.
No, but I don't do this kind of thing often so don't think of all the ways people can screw things up.

It's like that picture challenge thread... 🙄

How about a "my transmission doesn't have any issues" option?

My '21 is great after 32.5k KM (20k miles).
You obviously didn't have a transmission that grinds, so why do you need an option... ?

Because a casual observer will assume this issue affects all manual transmissions, when it doesn't.
Edited first post. Is it more clear now?

How can this possibly still be an issue on '24 models?
Ford (or supplier) doesn't know to build them without the issue?

Hey Jeremy,

You should add a line for people like me that have had their transmission replaced and now the noise is back. I had mine replaces at 2k miles and now at 26k miles its back.

I’m nearing end of warranty period on my ‘21 with 31,000 miles and so have pulled trigger on my MT. Scheduled to have work done end of March…

I did not have the issue on my ‘22 at 10,000 when I traded it in.
