I was under the impression that the fox would have the ability to add .0 to the front and .5in to the back at the lowest setting effectively not giving it a lift with SAS. (as i have hight issues already)?

i guess the question is can you tune the fox to not be any taller but better ride quality especially on road. particularly in your video the part about road vibration coming from the rear being tuned out?

this is the thing that most drives me crazy it feels like the rear tires are constantly out of balance
Negative, you cannot run a 0" lift or .5" lift properly. I am not sure the spring/body would even allow for it. Most aftermarket shocks are designed to give you lift, but also more overall travel. Because of this, their compressed lengths are longer so lowering the shock from its required height would provide little to no up travel and not ride well at all.

So there’s no “stock height” replacement shocks that don’t add any lift ?

Not from Fox. Their lift height ranges start at 2" of lift and go up to 4.5"

You'll probably get a lot of feedback from Wildtrak owners with the HOSS 3.0 package.
Ok, calling you out. 😁 I don't know how to do "Polls" on here, but I bet most HOSS 3 Wildtrak owners know the difference from "Factory (Ford) Fox 2.5's IB" and the "Factory (Fox) 2.5 IB". I hope I'm right? 🥺🤞

so if you install the min lift of 2" can everything else stay the same? control arms etc?
basically install and get an alignment?
Your best bet might be hoss 3.0 take offs. Should be really close to SAS package height, if not the same? but ride softer then hoss 2.0.

IBP = Internal Bypass
Fox Factory is a 3.0 IBP, not a 2.5

I’m just learning (today) from my shop that the HOSS 3.0 shocks are labeled as Fox but manufactured by Ford, similar to what other OEMs and shock suppliers do, and that the construction is not at the level of something built at the Fox factory. In potentially going to 2.5 shocks direct from Fox now, they said to expect a big improvement in ride and performance.

Ford does not make the Fox shocks, ford does not make any of the shocks found on any of the broncos. Fox makes shocks directly for manufacturers as well as their own lineup. Whoever told you Ford makes the shocks and puts a Fox sticker on them is wrong,

I think the new Bilstein 8112's are designed to be very close to stock sasquatch height. I believe Carli Suspensions also offers Kings that give very minimal lift from sasquatch height.

Yeah not for me no way in hell I’d spend that on shocks for a toy, 8112’s $1683 each and Carli is $6k for the set, guess if the stock Sasquatch shocks puke I’ll just replace with another stock sas set

I would actually be curious to know the answer to this.
I just recently replaced my factory Goodyear 35s which was not cheap.
I'm curious if I could install the Fox 2.5 at their lowest setting without changing anything else. I feel like 2" of lift wouldn't make it look like it skipped leg day on 35s.
I'm wondering if I could install the 2.5s at their lowest setting for now and then adjust them to their max height and replace control arms down the road to fit 37s.

Most people don’t adjust the preload to raise or lower after installing the fox elite’s. Even with 37s you still get some fender rub so with some 35s it would probably be just right. If you get the fox’s I’d get the HD spring kit with them so you don’t have any rear sag. Makes the ride much better with the higher rate rear springs.

Are those 35's or 37's in those photos?
I'm really not a fan of all that empty space in the rear fender area. I only load up heavy for a few trips a year.
