My build date is 6/23 but I have this issue. Hopefully they will extend the date.

I wouldn't base it off the build dates listed on the bulletin because they don't really make any sense, so it's possible you do have this program.
You can enter your VIN on this website and check:

FYI, I called my local ford dealer (Barbee’s Freeway Ford in Denver, CO) this morning after receiving the letter. I’m technically outside the build date listed in the letter but since I’m experiencing this problem they agreed to do the software update no questions asked. They even are able to do it with their mobile repair unit, and they are going to be able to squeeze me in later this week. Plus they are going to do that seat belt latch repair recall which only takes like 30 seconds. Easy peasy.
I saw this last fall and I forwarded to my service supervisor he say’s he hasn’t received anything from Ford so it’s not a concern never happened I guess!! my rig was built right smack in the middle of the window of the dates !!

I just got my letter a couple days ago... or so.Looking for my faith in FoMoCo fixing something NHTSA should have held them to the fire for over two years ago...
If you have a 4 door + have had the seatbelt recall taken care of ,might check your paperwork or contact your dealer.My dealer told me the day of the seatbelt repair they also corrected this on 11/!6/2023.But received recall on wipers 1/9/2024!

I tried that but they are telling me that this has to be it's own appointment since there are two different technicians performing the work. Love the dealership but this sounds a little b.s.ish as it means another trip.

Some have mentioned that the Bronco does not have/use rain sensor. I'm not sure if this is model year dependent
. But MY2023 user manual clearly indicates the wipers are linked to the rain sensor.

They said I could have left it but since my appt is at 1pm they said it would be overnight and that just didn't work. Given everything I'm seeing here about it being a 30 minute job I was hopeful it could be added on the back end of the work they were doing.

If what you're saying is true, then it's a failed on Ford's part. The same rain sensor reference text is in all the user manuals from MY22 to MY24. I'm sure it's also in the MY21 manual. But I don't have a copy to verify.

that page probably was pulled from the sport manual when they made the bronco manual so they didn't have to re-write it. that's my guess and it's in the my21 also
