Does anyone know why Broncos are shipped from MAP after blend date over to Ford Product Development, 10 miles to the East, in Allen Park Michigan located around 16630 Southfield Rd?
At least from November 2023 till now?
Those parking lots are loaded with Broncos of every trim.
Thanks for any info.

There was a time when they went from Production to a separate line to have some after-build parts installed. That was true for my WT Roof Rack (below is the end of line picture without the rack). Hard to say that so many would be waiting for Roof Racks, Grill Guards or Stickers?

That is indeed strange. Broncos have never before had to be parked offsite for storage after production. You should ask @Ford Motor Company for help, and have your VIN ready.

I don’t think it’s for storage. Other sources allude to software updates and miscellaneous need for completion.
I put the question out there to glean more info.
I’ve contacted Ford all the way to the top. Still awaiting a reply from them and the dealership along with another source in Allen Park s to where exactly y Bronco is located and why.
I’ll try to post images taken in November 2023 of all the Broncos parked at the FORD Product Development facility in Allen Park Michigan.

This might be one of those great mysteries that are never solved. Mine blended on July 18th, had modules by the 19th and wasn't "built" until August 12th! I don't recall how many miles were on it when I picked it up but it wasn't too many but could have been 10-20miles.

If those pictures are from November 2023, maybe it has something to do with the strike.

Maybe it’s serendipity the Google man drove through there in November 2023 and captured all this for people like me that has been wondering where their Broncos went.
Broncos are stacked all the way around the other side of the building. The images I uploaded just show a few of them.
Just a little of my back story and the reason for this thread.
I came across this location because of what the sales manager told me. VinView showed this location. So I’m all about doing my own research, if I’m able, based on whatever snippets of information I can get.
Wouldn’t have to do any of this if I could get straight answers from the dealership and FORD Customer service.
So a simple map search based on the information I received led me to come across these images, the location to where my bronco was supposed to be sent from MAP in November. Sales manager said something to do with QC maybe. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Possibly this little bit of information could help others wondering the same thing.
Mine was a dealer stock order that I placed a deposit on November 2. It was blended November 8. Modules popped around November 9. Been showing in production ever since with no updates.
Dealership already received the other nine Broncos they had ordered before the strike. All of which were built two weeks and beyond after mine was built.
Mine is the only one left to be delivered and the dealership does not know why so I’ve been a little worried as to whether I’m gonna get this thing or not.
At least knowing where it’s at and why are important factors as to whether I’ve been wasting my time or not waiting for this thing when I could’ve spent the time ordering something else in the meantime.
From what I’ve read of others on these forums that have waited many many moons to receive theirs does indeed gives some assurance that eventually it will come.
For me, it’s not so much about the wait but more, instead, about the where is it and why.
With that said I’ll end my rant.

That would be frustrating, especially when receiving no communication. Hopefully you will get some answers soon.
As an aside, during the ordering process for a ‘24 I experienced an horrific lack of communication from two local dealerships before finding a third who seemingly has their stuff together. The first dealership stalled for two weeks after the order banks opened saying they were “waiting for Ford to take the order.” I quietly moved on and still haven’t heard anything from them.

It's a storage yard, until shipment, there are many around here in Metro Detroit. I live across the street from the Mustang hold yard. Lot is lighted and is secure.

I hope @Swieszczyk is correct in the post above . It's just shipping. ^^^^

I had all of this below typed up before their post posted, so I'll send it anyways.

Basically, Ford NEVER reveals what the hold ups are, but this happens with some regularity with the Broncos. Not sure about other vehicles as I do not follow them like I have the Bronco since 2016, but I'd bet it happens with them as well.

Mine was held for the Original Dirt Mountain for 2.5 months back in 2021 for the hard top.
Ford eventually acknowledged that there was a hard top hold, but damn little information flowed from Ford until they had a pretty good idea there was a fix and what the plan for correction was.
But keep in mind, this was a brand new vehicle and the world was watching.

Currently, it is business as usual, so they'll hold it until they fix it and tell nobody NOTHING until then.

I know we all like to think they are OUR Broncos, but they're not. They're not even the dealers Broncos.
They are Ford's Broncos, and they do not owe any body an explanation about anything.
Usually, those of us glued to B6G know far more than our dealers do.
Ford Communications really do suck for holds like this.

It seems like an awful way to do business, but multiply this by the other couple million owners waiting for all the vehicles they make this month and the task of keeping all the future owners up to date is incredibly substantial.

It sucks, but that's what it is.

(Hope yours is just awaiting shipping!)

I just read an article about the police intercepting over 100 stolen vehicles in containers at the Port of Baltimore destined to West Africa. All high end vehicles with one being a brand new Bronco stolen right from the Ford assembly plant. Seeing the photos posted in this post I realize how that Bronco could have been ripped.

Depending on when in November that pic was taken, my Bronco could have been there...
Blended 7/12 -> "Built" 11/13 & SHIPPED 11/15

Mine had 92 miles on it already at delivery on 12/9, don't think the dealer put those on in 5 days.
I know of at least 1 Raptor in my build week that also took a long time to ship.

I was under the impression the skid plates, for instance, were installed in a nearby facility. A large number of those look like Sasquatches, so I would gather it's for parts like that to be installed. 🤷‍♂️
