Congrats. Looks great! Did you use the BD upfitter harness for the LP6s? Did you use a 10A aux switch for the low beams?Finished my LP6 install along with AMP Power Steps.

I did use the BD harness. Low beam to Aux 3 and high to Aux 2. Need to still hook up the harness to the battery but was pretty straight forward but way too much wire. Ended up cutting out about 20ft. Only need the 1 amp for high and Aux 2 was the next one available. Any of the switches will work if split.

The low beam spec is for 10A. Just wondering if I should put it on AUX2 for 15A or AUX3 is fine. I have a pair of LP6s and the upfitter harness ready to go. The BD harness has so much more wire than needed. I plan to do the same and eliminate most of it.

10 amps is good for low. No issues so far.
Ordered the 4 piece light set from Mabett to go with the bigger rear one I had ordered a little ways back. Also waiting for some information, but I plan to order the Injen hot and cold pipes to go along with my Injen intake. Found a sale, a good price (hopefully) and I will pull the trigger.

notice a different in the road noise?Installed the Hotheads headliner this morning. Looks to be very good quality. Time will tell. Love the finished look it gives to the interior.
I did the 2 inch foam at the beginning of the summer. Every soft top owner should do this. It helps greatly with the heat and the road noise.Added a 2 in foam mattress to soft top and used left over Kilmat for my hood. The mattress topper makes a significant improvement over road noise to include wind noise. I should have ordered a 3 in one as it will fit if you cut slots for the soft top metal bars. The hood sounds more solid when you close it. Have not tested it yet at highway speeds. Hopefully it will reduce that dreaded visual vibration at highway speed. Will report back if anything changes at 120mph…
UPDATE: KILMAT, does muffles the road noise in the cabin area a bit and does NOTHING! for the hood vibration at highway speeds. Will I do it again, NOPE, unless you have 45 minutes to spare while waiting for the wifey to get ready.
