Normally I’d park in 1st or Reverse. But on the Bronco I park in Crawl, since it’s the lowest gear. Not sure it would have helped on that steep of an incline, but it’s worth a shot when you get it back,

The Bronco can move easier in the lower gears. You're better off putting it in one of the higher gears. Why do you think you "pop the clutch start" in first gear.

I have a similar driveway and try never to park on the incline. There are times I have no choice though. I parked on the incline after a couple inches of snow once (didnt think I could make the hill from the bottom and not slide back into the retaining wall), woke up to go to work, and the truck was gone. Overnight the truck slid down the driveway to rest on the flat at the bottom. Missed the wall by inches...

This statement is completely backwards...(unless your talking ratio nubers, which your not) the lowest gear on your shift knob is gonna always have the most "hold" on a hill.

You’re right. Don’t know what I was thinking. Been driving stick for 50+ years and always in reverse or 1st.
