The Bronco can move easier in the lower gears. You're better off putting it in one of the higher gears. Why do you think you "pop the clutch start" in first gear.

Very incorrect sir. Lowest gear is definitely the best if you don't want it to roll away and if you're bump starting try 2nd or 3rd gear, it will work much better and not just skid tires. Real world experience 👍

UPDATE: Just got the insurance quote back, and as suspected, it's just simple bolt-on parts replacement.

Bumper
Wheel
Tire
Skid Plate
Bracket


No paint, no bodywork.

Estimate $4200 for parts and install. My cost is $400, insurance absorbs the difference.

They've allocated time to check that no sensors or wiring was affected, and will re-assess if necessary.

Will be ready next week.
