Looking for suggestions for new 35s. I do some serious off-roading, but also need a reasonably quiet tire for every day driving. TIA

Kenda's are hard to come by here in AZ, where did you get them? I am a big fan of the Kenda Klever RT KR601, but fear the level of support I might get if I needed warranty, etc. The shop reached out to Kenda and they referred us to a distributor in California that had no interest in shipping tires to AZ. They list Desert Rat in Tempe and when I went in there, they said they didn't know they could get them...

They have some cool sizes too, like the 35x10.5R17 in LR-D for those that like pizza cutters. Although their 35x12.5R17 are all LR-E and that's not my favorite.

I wanted the 10.5
But I fear a availability as well so I went

I’ll throw this out there because I haven’t seen anybody else recommend them but the Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP have been a great tire for me. I like the raised white letters and the tread has a center section like an all-terrain tire so there is little road noise and the inside and outside edges of the tread, are more like an aggressive off-road tire so they perform great off-road also. I’ve been running them for about 18,000 miles they have been working great on and off road. We just got back from a trip to Colorado and I’m very happy with them so far.

I will put a strong recommendation here for the Toyo Open Country RT Trail tires. I have about 10k miles on a set on my Bronco Wildtrak and can say they do great on regular highways, but was very impressed with how they did off-roading in Moab and in Ouray area off-roading. I will absolutely purchase these again!

I ran the 35" x 10.5" Kenda RT 601s before I moved to 37s and loved them. Got mine off ebay at a good price and quick delivery.

Currently running the new Nitto Recon Grapplers which have been great so far.

I love my BFG KM3 tires.. Quiet on road for an MT tire, great on the rocks and mud… Wet roads on street driving is where they don’t do their best… Off road they get an A+ from me. My cats also think they are AWESOME for hanging out on šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

So many good tires to choose from today, it’s hard to decide. Have heard good things about Falken and Mickey Thompson, don’t think you could go wrong picking one of their flavors.

Got my new Methods and 315/70/17 Raptor spec BFGs put on. I gotta say it feels quite a bit more harsh than the stock badlands 33" BFGs. Not sure why that is. Maybe its the increased offset or something. Wind noise is also much worse.

Which tires did you eventually choose? Just wondering.

What’s the load rating on your KM3s? Would like to go with those once my Badyears wear a bit, but Iā€˜ve only seen them in E. I have a 2 Dr, so don’t need the load rating, but think a D would be a good middle ground.

Want a thicker sidewall for puncture protection more than anything and something that can handle the wet decently.

Nitto Ridge or Trail Grapplers are also on my short list, as well as the Sticky Mickey’s Baja Boss.
