Job 2 will come with a functional sub and amp from the factory.
ok thanks for explaining that, much appreciated. Is the factory sub an 8” or 10” by chance?

I'm sure someone will come along with the exact size but a 6.75 aftermarket fits in the sub box hole with out modification. So it's close to that size factory.

I'm moble atm and by the time I look up the exact size someone will beat me to it!

just simple swap out no change in amp or was that changed and how does it sound?
I should have been more clear. That was plug and play for the sub. No modifications needed for the enclosure. I got the Fusion amp, like others, and then used Forscan to “ turn it on”. I wanted a little more so I then built a custom enclosure and added a JL Audio 10.

Here is my Fusion amp and Kicker sub installed in the factory housing. If you search the forum the 4 ohm speaker is recommended and seal off the ported tube. The Forscan change to power sub. Took me longer to get the panel off than to do the swap.

Adding the 10 was my preference. It sounded sooooooo much better just adding the Kicker 6.75.

I went with the consensus on the sub thread for easiest installation. I'm not that into car audio but appreciate a better sound than what the Bronco came with. For my abilities and limited ear for quality sound, this was simple and less than the $250 credit.

I would do more if I knew more. Love the forum members doing the thinking for me and giving me instructions.

Agree it was well worth the cost! Also agree with the consensus on the forum. I would have spent a ton more otherwise. The guy at the audio shop gave me a quote of $2000 to add an 8! 😂🤣😂

I also added the SSV rear pods and swapped out kick panels and dash speakers.

Nice! I’ve swapped all of the factories but want to replace the 4” pods with 6.5s. That’s next on the list. I also added a 4 channel amp as well as a 500 watt sub amp. Both under the seats.
