Currently installing my phenix sub and amp. I am tapping into my factory wires for my sub. Can I tap into the rear speakers or do I need to go to the front kick speakers for the correct high hot signal. Will the rears work just as good?

also, my amp isn’t powering on :/

Go to the front kick speakers. That's where I got the signal for my LCI2 and then send from there to my sub. I'm not super sure not an expert but I read somewhere here the Signal to the kick speakers is almost full signal if not just shy of that.

Also bring power to the amp directly from battery and install a good quality fuse no more than 12in from the battery connection. Ground you can get from one of the Bolts off the rear metal down
