Long crank since day 1

Anyone has this issue? Picked up my 23 WT 1 month ago. Since day 1 the car needs a long crank before started. Only happens when engine is cold or cool down for a bit. If it's a normal warm start it cranks quick and start normally. Checked the battary and voltage is normal.

What is your voltage reading when engine is cold before start-up? Just hit the start button without foot on brake to read voltage in menu screen before you start.

Just checked. 12.6V with ignition on, engine off. And it drops to 11.4V while cranking and back to 13.1V after engine started.
Again it was a long crank as usual. Car was parked about 2 hours.

Battery voltage dropping to 11-11.5 while starting is probably why it is exaggerating the start process while cold. When warm or at normal operating temperature is a sign that the voltage was above 12.6 or higher which is allowing for a proper start, 10.5 and below is considered a very low or discharged battery. If you have a battery charger, try connecting it to charge the battery. After it is fully charged and you start it and it is proper start then you have a charging issue, or a low battery. Especially since you only had for 1 month, unless you wired something up since you had it. Otherwise I would alert your dealerships service department that there may be a charging issue. But before you do this try the battery charger first to confirm that it starts properly when fully charged. If voltage drops again after this then contact service department. Batteries are warrantable through dealer just as alternator. Or if you do not want to mess with it, contact service department.

Probably a fuel pump that is draining back fuel pressure instead of holding system pressurized. Try cycling the start button several times without having foot on brake before starting. If it then starts normal your fuel pressure is draining down. Could be a fuel injector but most likely a fuel pump. We replace several a week for this issue on Fords. I'm a Service Manager at a Ford dealership.

Not really, this is because the check ball in the pump isn't sealing and holding the system pressurized. Not that the fuel pump itself isn't running. Sometimes if the pump quits working you can hit the bottom of the fuel tank and get it to run again for a bit.
