I’ve hook my ditch lights up to the rear fog light switch since I don’t have six switches. You have to change things in forscan to enable them. It’s a white/blue wire that runs down the driver side sill plate. One plus is with the factory switch you get an icon on the dash reminding you it’s on.

Thanks for the info man! Just to be sure I am clear I am tapping in to the white wire with the blue stripe on it? I'm going to be ordering the Ford switch today. Is the fuse in place for this and any idea what amperage that circuit is rated for?

Mine was live once I installed the switch and turned it on in forscan. I wired in a relay and used the white/blue as a trigger wire. I won’t say it’s the only white blue wire in the bundle. So check with a meter. The wht/blue runs all the way back to the left rear corner connector that hooks to the bumper harness.

Good idea, I assume you already had some high amp wire back there for an audio amp or something?

Couldn’t find any rear factory fog light threads, so here goes…anyone wire up rear fog/chase lights using the factory switch and harness?

Hoping for a tutorial or maybe some confirmation this works and where the harness to connect this to is located without having to trace and be the test dummy 😋

Special thanks to @flip and @drew707 for their efforts in confirming parts and their insight thus far!

The front fog light harness I know is already installed from factory, but the rear fog light harness is not installed from factory and you have to order it, correct?

Nope I used my rear fog switch for ditch lights. So I cut it at the rear door and pulled it through the firewall. And connected it. If using it in the rear you’d need a wire ran unless you have the tow package then a guy could probably use the wiring in the 7 pin connector.

That's right you did say you used it for ditch lights.. I do have the tow package, I may just see if it blows a fuse or not, if it does I'll investigate where to get power for the relay

The tow package should have a 12v feed for charging a rv battery if that can be enabled or has power then you have a power source there.

Long read here but I've got it. Thank you for all who contributed.
Firstly, I'm getting the switch with front/rear fog.. no puddle light at the mirror.

The right switch for you is covered ad nauseum in other threads so I'll stick to just the wiring portion.

Secondly, and quoted below, I'm highlighting the most helpful info if you just want to tap the harness on the rear driver's side (connector C424) included on all trims and which contains the rear fog power wire.

If you don't want to spend the $100 on the G harness.

The simplest way to tap the rear fog power/switch wire is to insert a wire with terminal EU2Z-14421-BA (linked here and only $5 at time of post) at position 3 on connector C424 and connect the other end of the wire to your fog/ditch/disco lights. Then use the ground at the license plate lights or your tow package.

@4x4TruckLEDs.com do you have a splicing harness that adds a wire connecting to the rear fog power switch at c424 which is connector 15k868?

......the body harness to the rear is wired (at least on mine it is) to connector C424.
I suppose one could add a pin to the bumper harness that comes from the factory
with terminal EU2Z-14421-BA. and use the shared ground with the license plate light. Driver side bumper connector.

The blu/wht Wire is in the body harness all the way to the rear DS corner of the vehicle at which point it ends in the connector (C424). you can tap into it there Or you can add the G Harness which extends the BLU/wht wire to the middle of the rear bumper (C436).

So the real thing is where are you picking up the wire. I see three methods:
1: Tap into the body harness at the DS rear Corner (Before C424)
2: Add a terminal to the existing harness/connector (At C424)

3: Add G harness and tap/splice into the bumper Harness (Before C436)

And as a product package suggestion. Including this spliced wire in a rear light package would be a big help to those less comfortable with deconstructing connectors and terminating wires.
No sorry we don't have anything for this "rear fog" (which isn't a fog in america, because fog lights are in the front and overseas it's something else).

@nwGTS were you able successfully tapped into connector C424 with the mentioned terminal?

Haven’t done it yet. All goods are on order. This isn’t a priority of mine, but a rainy day project some day.

Ford Bronco Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness 4BAC4E41-9DB3-4CB5-A7D3-AA8CD2AED70D

Just got these delivered from Tasca. Switch, fog light insert and rear wiring. Only have to order the bumper. It was back ordered. Ford dealer sells it at Msrp 704.72 excl. tax. Is that a fair price or should I shop around? They are offered cheaper but shipping is high.
