I’m thinking of throwing a powered sub behind that panel, like a trunk sub. I can’t tell from the pics.. without the enclosure would I be able to fit a 11x19x5.5” box?

Update: I thought it was mud on wheels in the beginning and I found a bunch in my wheels. I hosed them out and the shimmy was still there. I went out and took a closer look and I found a slug of mud hidden behind the wheel spoke. Cleaned that out and cleaned off some mud still on my front...

I did some dirt roads this weekend and hit a washout going across the road going kinda fast (20mph). Now I have a shimmy at 80MPH. what are the top culprits to look for?

I can’t fathom any scenario where I’m off roading and I get a dent that does no damage to the paint.

I just went with it. I think the LID or tricky dick reinforcement brackets will work.

I replaced the 4” dash speakers and got a huge difference. Will I get a big jump again if I replace the 6.5” door speakers? Are they trash like the dash speakers or are they ok?

Ford offers an extended warranty and a premium maintenance plan. Two different products. Both are worth it, but only at the granger or flood ford prices

$4k is a ripoff. You can get it cheaper from Granger Ford or Flood Ford… or at least go look it up to price compare and get a better deal. I got mine 7 yr 125k for $2000. Maintenance costs will exceed that if you count brakes and even windshield wipers and air filters. And inflation.

The off-road insurance only covers scratches and dents, windshield small cracks and tires/wheels. Just a gimmick.

They are shaped. Look at them closely you can see part of the lower circumference is flatter in one spot. the holder piece has a tab to clock it on the stock bumper. Not sure if yours has it. Alternatively you may be bouncing the ultrasound off of the bumper structure that juts out right...

I cut holes on my winch plate for my proximity sensors.. They were acting up and it was two reasons. 1. The plastic flange piece has to be oriented properly, 2. They were being squeezed because the holes were too small. I reamed the holes until they fit better and problems went away.
