Trying to narrow down , the choices are a blessing & a curse lol

Figured on 2 Door , want to have some off road capability but want every day drive comfort .
Thought OB. would be a good choice , But I like the features that the Diamond back offer for off road .
Need to keep build as reasonably priced as possible while getting most bang for buck .
Auto tranny [ as much as I like the idea of 7spd ] just makes sense where I live - traffic can really suck .

Reality is that on Long Island there's no Off roading to speak of [ Beaches do not count for me] Would travel to NJ to find some courses .
I'm new here so I'll continue search threads .. Any suggestions are welcome , feel free to chime in .

your choices will also have an effect on how long you wait for build. 6 months to almost 3 yrs for some people. Do research. Plenty of threads here on that.

get a big bend/4cyl/automatic/mid package, no other options except perhaps a hard top if you happen to go 4dr

Meant Black Diamond , Yes, I see that this order means lots of Patience .
Honestly I'm wondering how so many people have waited so long ?
As well as ordering a vehicle without test driving !

For a daily driver on the cheap that comes with most of the stuff thats usable I like the Black diamond with the 4auto option. It has decent wheels and tires for off roading, comes with rear lockers, cool seats and armor bash plates, also steel bumpers. Throw the mid package and you get some more safety stuff and heated seats. WHen cash allows upgrade the coilovers to someone elses SAS (sasquatch) takeoffs and get larger tires for off roading. If its mostly going to stay on road then the stock setup looks pretty cool.
For most off road on the cheap basesquatch is the way to go all the off road stuff aside from the front sway bar disconnect and its cheap. No mid package option if you wanted it. Big bends fine if you want the LED lights as a option and it has slightly better tires for off road then the Base if you didnt upgrade. But you cant get 4 auto on the big bend without going SAS. For the money and if its gonna be off roaded and you like the vinyl seats go black diamond. If you dont need heated seats get a base and get it SAS.

All that said ordering one is not an option and even if you could it wouldnt be made this year so your gonna need to find one on a dealer lot or from a dealer that they have on order. You most likely wont find exactly what your looking for and getting one at MSRP is not easy. I would start with searching in google maps, ford and dealers in your state. Call one by one to find who sells for MSRP then if they say yes> ask what they have coming in. Some dealers want 10-2500 over msrp on broncos. Sounds like your trying to keep the build cost low so finding one at MSRP would be your best bet.

Figure out what interior you want? Cloth, MGV or Leather is going to put you into certain trims, then figure out the electronics you want, screen size and other features like lane assist.

You will most likely end up stuck in one of the trims.

I reserved in August 2020, just got scheduled today!
The Base with Sasquatch is the best deal. I priced out different 2 door models with V6:
BaseSquatch $43550
Big Bend with rear locker $45770
Black Diamond with Rear locker and advanced 4x4 $45770
Outer Banks with Rear locker and advanced 4x4 $48320
Badlands $51120
Heritage $49950

I like the Base Sasquatch for the great deal.... drivetrain, wheels/tires.
The Big Bend doesn't gain you much for the $$
Black diamond is a decent value. I don't care for the vinyl seats or plain wheels.
Outer Banks has cloth, and includes the mid package, but I don't like those wheel either.

ok , some good info - I just called a few local dealers - found a base / base at $32,885 - they checked stock and guess what ? Just took a deposit on it ! yeah sure - good bait leaving it up on inventory . Next possible was at about $ 47,000 badlands decked out but still 7spd

it's going to be a challenge , i do believe some dealers will get stuck with orders coming in - it's happening now

It's like BINGO, you get lucky occasionally. I went with Sayville and I can say that everyone except the Finance Manager treated my very well. Look around - several dealers have Broncos on the lot to sell. You might get lucky and find what you're looking for.

I have a 2022 Basesquatch 2 door with 2.7 and auto in white. Love it, would do it again. The white color and insulated hard top keep the interior cool in the blistering hot FL sun, too. It's not a good commuter though with the small gas tank and the relatively poor MPG. If gas were 2.00 a gallon I would for sure use it as a commuter as it is certainly comfortable enough.

I probably spent 6mo playing with the build & price before finally making a decision. I went 2dr black diamond 2.3 auto with mid package and tow. It was the best value/bang for the buck for me and what I want to do with it. I ordered 12/28/21 built 4/11/22 delivered 8/5/22. BTW I love the vinyl/washout interior. Ive already been rained on a couple times with no issues.
