Many of the "plug and play" harnesses that are built for the Kicker Key amps also come with provisions for the Kicker HS8/HS10 subs. So that is probably what I'd go with unless you are comfortable cutting into harnesses and whatnot.
Thank you...I will check for the needed provisions.

This is exactly what I did. Kicker 8" shallow compRT, OEM B&O enclosure, wired to the 500.1 (once it comes in). The trick now will be chasing rattles. Good problem to have! :)
Did you use the harness from PlugNPlay? and if you did, did it also provide power or do you have to separately wire that?

Yes PnP harness. The 200.4 doesn’t need separate power but it’s a good idea to do it anyway with the $10 adaptor. The 500.1 needs it’s own power/ground and fuse.

Was this for the Sub Amp or the 200.4 amp. I have the kicker 500 and sub and want to get advice before attempting
200.4 but you can splice in another pair of inputs for your sub amp

Does mounting the Key under the steering column limit any travel in the steering wheel?

I assume that you're talking about wheel "adjustment" - No it does not.

It DOES effect the travel of the tilt. But only at the lowest travel.

Any idea how much downward travel is lost?
Not really. I tested it when I installed it this past Summer. It didn't effect where my wife and I keep the wheel when driving, so I didn't investigate beyond that. You'd have to go PRETTY far down for it to hit.

I'm looking to do this upgrade as well.

I've been checking the Hoel Wiring site for several months now and the plug and play bronco harnesses have been out of stock (https://hoelwiring.com/collections/bronco) Are there any plug and play alternatives to it? I don't want to get into splicing wires.

Which connectors do you need? I have a spare set (2x) for the 4" in the dash and rear pods.

It also look like these are available:

I'm looking for the harness that goes into the stereo itself... as shown starting around 7:20 here:
