I put the amp in the glovebox for easier access. There are other options noted in the forums. I'm debating on the subwoofer location. For ease of taking it out, I'm thinking of just velcroing it to my rubber mat for now to keep it from sliding around. I can quickly disconnect it from the harness if I want to remove it from the truck.

Awesome, thanks. I dig that spot for the amp

@plugnplaykits is there an option to just get the adaptors, I already have the Nine con and an Audiocontrol LC7i, I’m just looking for the plug into the headunit and the female plug into the factory harness.

I got mine mounted with a bolt though the metal dash bar.

Extremely happy with the audio outcome with the stock speakers still.

So I'm a little confused, if I wanted to add the Kicker Preamp Sub in the back and looking to upgrade the power for the speakers in the front (already replaced the speakers with Kickers), which amp and harness to I need?
Can I simply get the 200.4 and the harness and tap into the front panel speakers? Or is there a better setup?

Did anyone have weird results the first time they ran auto-setup? I had my install done by a shop; I know the guys there do good work, but after they ran the initial setup, it sounded TERRIBLE. Front speakers sounded harsh, no bass, and just not good-sounding. I was in a hurry leaving the shop and was on a call so I grabbed the car and drove home. It was on the way home that I realized that things weren't sounding the way I expected.

I ran auto-setup again and then the system came alive. To be fair, I wasn't watching them when they ran the setup the first time, so not sure if they missed a step or the mic placement was off.

Maybe a novice question, but I’ve finally got my pnp harness today and plan to install this weekend. As far as the amp settings go, I assume you would have radio detect on or no?

Yes it needs to be on or you’ll get weird popping sounds after you shut the bronco off.

You could get the kit that includes both kicker amps, 200 and 500 to support your set up.

So does kit 11 work with the B&O system and kicker amp? If it’s the same install as the OP’s install video I can do that myself!

The kits do not work with the B&O system, he's waiting for PAC to release kit for it.

Thanks for that! I read most of this thread and didn’t see a definitive answer.

Has anyone tried the PNP wire kit & Kicker KeyDSP 200amp hooked up with the factory speakers still installed and see how it sounds? Just curious if all those speakers still need to be replaced even after adding the DSP Key amp.

I would also think adding the baffle, boom matt, or polyfil will help too.

I just replaced all my speakers with kickers. I’m wondering if others have the same outcome. I get a lot more clarity and highs. The lower tones seem to have gone away. No real bass to speak of.
I have the exact same issue…. I ordered a kicker sub to help the low end.. Just waiting for it to arrive.
