Neither do I. It was a theory.

That said, in practice the addition of a rear seat bar hasn’t added to the 3500lb capacity: Ford 2022 Fleet Towing Guide

Could the rear sway bar shown be part of a factory trailer tow package? Can the folks with and without the rear bar comment on if their build includes the tow package?

The OP - the only person we know with a rear sway bar - does not have tow in the photos.

Would bet this is the roof rack with Sasquatch fix.

Seeing as this chassis is the basis for the next Gen Ranger, which will definitely have a rear sway... Did the supplier throw one on their by mistake??

My end of Dec. built 2 dr non-Squached 2.7 w/tow, does not have it. It does have the holes for it.

That’s how they put them in on the rear axle. Trucks, SUV’s with rear sway have all looked that way.

Might explain why the swaybar is so small. Just big enough for Sasquatch with roof rack to pass whatever standard it needs to pass?
