Ight so I have on order a BD. MY dealer has a WT as a mannequin. Considering I'm 1 of 6 people to order though them (one has picked up and the others were late reservations) I asked if mine doesnt get delivered (details in sig) by 6 months if I could snag that WT. The WT isn't my top choice because it won't fit in my garage. When I was measuring before I reserved I think my garage opening was 79 inches. But now I think about it..

Here comes the peanut gallery.

.... If I were to remove the 35s and drop to 32s how much of a drop in height would I get? 3 inches? (Simple math) seems like a lame reason but my last house I didn't have a garage to park in and I hated it. Thanks in advance.

You're half correct re: math.

no.. since half the diameter of the tire is above the axle, and half is below the axle, you need to divide the difference in diameter by 2 (cut it in half).. so the difference in vehicle height on a vehicle with 32" tires to 35" tires would be 1.5" (half of the 3" total diameter difference)

Inch and a half off the top of the tire, inch and a half off the bottom. The top portion has no effect on your ride height. Plus your gearing would be whack with 32s on 4.70s and fender gap from the lift. Not worth it.

The gearing would be great. It’s an off road vehicle, right?
No problem at all if you want to run 32s, but maybe 33s would be nicer. 🙂

But that would raise him up another inch though. ;)

(Hint to the uninformed, the "32" measures 32.1" the typical "33" = 32.7" ...... so 3/10 inch in tire lift from 255/70 to 285/70)
