Window thump when rolling up from bottom...

Small issue here with my OBX. Every time I roll up the Driver's side window, I get a nice thump inside the door. Window works just fine, but what would cause this? I'm assuming the dealership will have to take my door panel off to replace or adjust. I've had door panels taken off in the past, and the door never felt as solid after.

There are plugs in the bottom of the door. Pull them out, shine a flashlight up an see what's moving. Have someone operate the window while you take a peek. Sounds to me like the window track may be shifting.

Jog the window switch up and down as you close the window. If it thumps every time it's most likely a loose regulator/motor. If it only thumps at the bottom it could be something catching the mechanism, like a wiring harness, weather strip, or insulation. Not an uncommon problem, actually, and an easy fix at the dealer. Yes the door panel has to come off.

Mine is passenger door going up I get two thumps. Sounds like a cable is not restrained. Issue is for me two weeks ago on my superduty I had the dealer do work and the broke they plastic thing for the top of the lock rod from taking the door panel off. A smooth plastic part that you unsweetened by hand split in two( they did replace it but didn’t even mention it. I had to send pictures and call. It was the drivers door like I’m not going to see it’s cracked in half!) I’m going to have to do this one myself so nothing gets broken.
