Hey everyone! Since receiving our Bronco, I’ve noticed a lot of wind noise on the passenger side. I figured, “it’s a convertible. Expect some wind noise.” But upon checking it out, I noticed that I can see and feel the top of both windows on the passenger side. I checked both windows on the driver side, and they are slightly higher (and I can’t see or feel the top of the window).
I’ve tried the reset, although I know it’s to resolve an issue when the window isn’t going down. I thought I’d still try that, but it didn’t work.
It’s almost like the glass needs to come up about 1/16-1/8 of an inch more. Also, the glass is level and doesn’t seem misaligned.
Has anyone had this problem? I’d hate to have to take it to the dealership, who is a three hour drive from me.
*Edit-I just figured it out. The seal on the passenger side sits higher than the seal on the driver side, causing there to be a slight gap between the window and seal. Now..how to fix it.
