Another 2 door checking in

its better without the roof rack for sure
not unbearable, but you will be thankful for a good stereo
its not a luxury suv by any means

Stereo stays around 7 at highway speed. Normal conversation volume over the noise. I get more road and engine noise than wind. That’s running 35/12.50x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on. Two door Badlands/sas/lux. No rack.

Love your Bronco! I'll have a 2 dr SAS, Badlands, w rack and totally expect my Bronco will be loud as hell. There will be no comparison to my 440i noise or the wife's RR Sport which is too quiet to me.

Another thing I won't do much is drive around with windows up. Plan to remove the front panels regularly too; this is what TF I'm buying the Bronco for.

On the highway, any vehicle shaped like a damn brick is going to be loud, add the wheels and removable roof and the floor, you've got yourself a tin can; it's awesome!

Not sure what some here are wanting the Bronco to be? Bronco is rather primitive in many regards; that's what makes it good for off roading, but this ain't a family hauler folks.

I fear that there are a lot of Teluride and Rav4 people here posing as Bronco drivers. Can't wait till these people hop on the next trend; likely some EV from Kia in a year.....

It's no louder than my Ranger or F150 was. I had a gap in the gaskets over the front doors, told dealership. They ordered new rev gaskets and now it's even quieter. 🤷

Love your Bronco!
Thanks! And agree. Lots of Bronco owners new to this class of vehicle that will find it to be less than they expected. Lots of new ones that will find it to be exactly what they wanted. It will just take a while for everything to shake out. In the meantime, I absolutely love mine and enjoy everything about it. Enjoy yours as well!

It's just like hot or cold, "noise" is relative to each person. 2D Badlands Sasq high package, we live in NW OK where winds are 20-50mph daily. 70mph on the highway driving onto a 30mph head wind we can still visit in the cab front seat to back seat with no issues.

4-door soft top Wildtrak here... this is my first off-road vehicle and I have no complaints at all with wind noise. I normally keep my B&O radio around 7; go up to 10 if I'm feeling spicy. Conversations and voice commands via Siri are no problem at all.

This is my first soft top and the wind noise is real on the highway but not as bad as I expected. I wouldn’t want to drive the Bronco as my only vehicle if most of my driving was highway, but around town it’s fine and normally the farthest trip will be to our cabin 140 miles north of us.

...From what I see the people with roof racks are complaining about wind noise. Rigs with no rack not so much. ...
I live on the prairie where it's windy AF all the time with a lux badsquatch and the wind noise is better than I expected. 20y old vehicles of all kinds are much worse. No gadgets on the roof.

4 dr soft top SAS. On my phone app decibel level is 73-76 at 70-75 mph. That’s without anyone passing. The road noise of another vehicle goes straight thru the plastic rear windows. 18 wheelers are very loud.

badlands 2 door, no squatch, no roof rack.
Spent 22 hours and 1300 miles from PA to Myrtle beach and back at 75mph, Towing a 5x8 enclosed trailer. Wind noise is not an issue, turn the B&O up around 9 to 11 and you can’t even hear it. Extremely pleased with everything about the Bronco. Sure, it’s not as quiet as my 2018 f150 super crew was…. But it’s a lot quieter than my 2011 mustang 5.0😬

I test drove 2 four doors with soft tops and 1 two door with MIC.... all 3 were 100 times better than mine... so some are lucky and I will not accept it as it is... it's getting fixed one way or another even if I have to use spray foam

gets a bit loud past 75MpH, but really just like a cracked open window in the rear, less than I expected. DB meter app showed between 80-82db going 80 on the highway, drops fast if you go slower. Funny enough, my wife's Jetta wagon is just as loud measured with the ap. No clue how accurate those are.

Cross winds will get louder and gusty winds will make themselves heard, but also not bad.

Soft top 4dr Sas BL here. Obviously no roof rack, but I'd not have that with a hard top either, don't want stuff up on the roof if I can avoid it. No lightbar, no use for it and don't want extra noise when driving open.

Used to have a Miata many years ago, from memory it seems about the same in noise.

My 2-door with roof rails sounds like I have the windows open above 60 mph.
