Hello everyone.
I picked up my 2025 Bronco Big Bend brand new June 2nd with the painted hard top. When I first drove it I noticed a very loud wind noise coming from a very specific spot in the cabin - the rear passenger window/hard top area. I pointed it out to my sales person and he said take it home, take off the roof, realign it and it should fix itself.
It didn’t.
When I called the dealer they told me it’s a bronco, it’s going to be loud. My father had a lifted soft top Jeep before with 37s on it, and my Bronco is much louder with stock 32s non SAS. I had to bring it into the service department for 2 fixes - weatherstripping was literally falling off the Bronco and letting water into the cabin, and the buffeting sound. 3 days later I picked it up, and they never looked at the wind buffeting issue. Told me to come the next day at 11, came the next day and they had no one to look at it, told again to come another day.
Came to pick up my plates and told the manager about my issue, he escalated it and got my a new service guy and he told me to come the next day..
Finally I got someone from service a technician to drive with me and they noticed the issue immediately. He called it “turbulence” but it kind of sounds like wind buffeting or cabin pressure buffeting.
they said they would have to drive some other broncos and contact ford to get answers. Now it’s been almost a month with no word or update.
I get it broncos are removable roof off road vehicles but dear lord it’s been the worst experience driving a vehicle I’ve ever had. At speeds over 40+ the car is unbearable to drive for me, I already have an inner ear disorder and this has just been a sucky purchase so far. If I didn’t have the wind buffeting issue the road noise is 100% manageable.
I hate regretting something I just purchased.
Has anyone had a similar issue and gotten it fixed by ford?
