Wildtrack wheel questions

I’m going to put 35” wildtrack take off’s on my standard badland. Taking off the crash bars, there’s 2 of them, I think, in each front wheel well. Do I need to take both sets off? Are the lug nuts the same size ? My wheel torque is 100 lb/ft. Sasquatch is 150. Do I need to go to 150 as well?
Anyone know the offset on these wheels?

You may not need to remove the crash bars. i put Wildtrack tire/rims on my OBX with a 4" lift - did not remove crash bars or splash guards.

Sasquatch wheel torque isn't any different than a normal bronco. They're both 100. Lug nuts are also the same

While it's nice to have things tightened to manufacturer torque settings, for many years I did not have a torque wrench, and tightend my wheels by feel. As did pretty much everyone else I knew. None of us ever had a wheel fall off. So I wonder how critical it is to get these wheel torque settings exact?

I'm sure as long as its close to the correct spec you'll rarely have any issues.
But with something as important as wheels I'd rather be safe than sorry and make sure to get as close to exact as possible.

Funny story: A friend in college went to local tire shop to get new tires. She had a little Nissan pickup. She waited, couple hours later they give her her keys, and she pulls out of the driveway.

I happened to be at a Quicktrip that was catacorner to the tire shop. I hear a commotion and look over and there's my friend, one wheel flat on the ground, right in the middle of the road.

Turns out the tire tech had forgotten to put ALL the lug nuts back on (or charitably someone gave her truck back early). She got about 100 feet, albeit in a very busy section of road. Of course, the tire shop came and got her truck and put the lug nuts on. Talk about death wobble.

I too have only ever tightened by hand, until the last time I did use a torque wrench when I changed out my rack (I had help who had a torque wrench). I don't know who carries around a big torque wrench for side of the road repairs. But it is probably a good idea to double check!

The offset for a Wildtrak wheel is +30, which will place the tire flush with a SAS fender, and the correct torque specification is 100ft/lbs.

Raptor is 150
Regular Bronco with or without sasquatch is 100

Torqueing lug nuts isn't so much about preventing the wheels from falling off; it's about applying even pressure to the wheel, hub and brake assembly, reducing bearing wear and potentially warping brake rotors.

It also prevents you from overtightening lug nuts and breaking wheel studs.

When I worked in a tire shop, I could always find the bubba who put an 18" breaker bar on their lugs and called it good. He's the same guy that had to buy new wheel studs with ever set of new tires!

For the smaller M12 wheel studs on regular Broncos, yes.

The Bronco Raptor has larger M14 wheel studs like the F150. Those have been 150 lb/ft for decades.
