Who else washes hood & windshield only?

I do. I have a what I call a bug cloth and small jug of water I keep in the Bronco to wipe the windshield and front end of the bugs it attracts. When I drive it to work on the back roads to work in So Fl it gets caked with bugs, sometimes there are so many on the windshield I have a hard time seeing out of it. And I often throw a bucket of water over the hood to rinse it off of bird droppings, dust, etc.

Windshield, grill and the back of the side mirrors have to be done by hand because of bugs. I hand wash more than I'm accustomed to because mine is Oxford White and the black top "bleeds".

Thanks to PNW rain, mine gets a "spray" often. Maybe a full wash every couple months. My paint and mic top are holding up to scratches and mud great. Glad most panels are aluminum.

I often do a quick wash of only the hood & windshield and maybe the front side windows. The sides usually have some mud spray and require a more thorough wash and of course within a matter of days there is mud on the sides again. So I squirt a little car wash soap on a sponge and only wash the hood & windshield, the side simply get a quick spray. Anybody else guilty of this sloth like behavior?

That's entirely too much work. Makes me tired just thinking about it. I wash mine maybe 3 times per year. The only other cleaning it gets is if it rains and it happens to be parked outside. A51 hides a lot though. My windshield is actually due a good cleaning. I thought about it this past week but then decided it was too much work, and I could still see out of it as long as the sun wasn't directly ahead.

Have a pack of the Costco window spray cans with a pack of their blue paper towels in the back.

Clean window almost daily. My commute is through back roads during prime insect hatch hours it seems and the window gets bad fast.

One of the silver linings of having horrible gas mileage - always an excuse to stop at the gas station to clean the windshield off

I washed and waxed mine Sunday, although today is the first day it had the doors back on. Being a 2 door, it's a lot quicker to wash than my F-150. The Eruption Green is worth the extra time.

I'm guilty of a quick spray to get the heavy stuff off periodically but when it's time for a wash it's all or nothing.

Agreed but on rare occasion. Usually do the whole shebang with glee!

The first thing I did was get mine professionally ceramic coated. This makes cleaning a lot easier and less dirt attracts/sticks to the paint.
Between full washes I use a rineless product called ONR to spruce up primarily the hood and the windshield. Sometimes I will wipe the doors down as well.
I have a spray bottle in a pouch on the back tailgate molly panel with some rags.
If I'm out and about and get some bird poop or need to clean the windshield it works great.
In the garage I break out the IK Sprayer and a few Microfiber towels to wash the hood up.

I have ceramic coat on my Bronco. Washing is a breeze. 90% of the grime comes off with just the jet setting on my hose. One wipe over the metal surfaces with soap and a towel gets rid of the rest. I don't dry it though. I just drive it around the block at 60mph (rural area) and the water flies off due to the ceramic coating.
