Hello, I'm Mark from SoCal, this is my first post on this amazing forum and figured I'd try to get some feedback from Bronco owners.

Finally talked the boss lady into maybe trading/selling her baby Bronco (2023 Bronco Sport OB) for the big dog!

She loves her Cactus Grey OB but I've somehow convinced her to look into the idea of upgrading.

I used to own a 2021 JLUR that we sold to get this, part of the deal I made her when I bought my dream car last year, a minty low mile gen1 R8 with gated manual

We do like to off-road with trips to Sedona once in awhile, but nothing real crazy with insane rock crawling.

So I've been deep diving the search engines and have some really interesting choices...

Trying to stay around $40K

1. 2025 Base Bronco got under invoice at $40,999
Love the new Desert Sand but it is a bare bones base Bronco w/auto

2. 2022 Big Bend w/Sasquatch 26k miles asking $39,999

4. 2021 Black Diamond w/Sasquatch V6
with 15k miles asking $38,700(firm)

5. Brand new 2024 Big Bend with over $6k discount for $38,900

What would be your choice???

I'm leaning towards #2 the Area 51 with Sasquatch if the I can get them down a bit on price,
but the brand new ones are hard to pass up....but the Sasquatch package is worth it

TIA for any feedback

So, you're trading in her Sport, that she loves (your words) to get you a big Bronco but you're still keeping your R8 with the gated shifter???

How about you trade in your minty car for what you want and let her keep what she loves?

where is the fun in that? :ROFLMAO:

She misses the top down go anywhere experience we had with the Rubicon, so it wasn't too hard of a sale ....

Got the one(A51) in AZ down to $37,999 and looking like we will move on that one ...fingers crossed

Black Diamond SAS would be my pick there (at least if you aren't going MT) - V6 with all the SAS goodies. And skid plates.

SAS is worth it ~if~ you decide you want to go off roading with it - it's ready to go, with 4A, front/rear lockers, and 35" tires.

But if you (or your Boss) aren't going to take it into the rocks, or plan to do a lot of modding to it anyway - go new.

Coming from a Sport - the interior is a big step down. You may want to consider the Mid/Lux packages anyway, which puts you back at the two Big Bend SAS used.

I love my Big Bend, low end everything, but it doesn't have a lot of creature comforts, and that's what you would be getting with the new on the lot model. The difference between the Base and Big Bend is ... really really minor - some paint on the steelie rims and some leather on the steering wheel, and that's... about it.

You don't ~need~ SAS to go off road, especially if it's not something like the Rubicon. But I would at least look for a rear locker - that is much more expensive to add if you don't have it from the factory.

I have a tentative agreement on #2
They all had their pros and cons but the price was right and it is a super clean one owner car with some of the things I really wanted like the tow package, LED signature headlights. Area 51 and the aux switches and of course the Sasquatch package… we are going to plan on picking it up on Wednesday outside of Phoenix and take it to Sedona for a couple of days to play with it on some trails …. Excited!!!!

Looks by the photo that it may have some type of lift or level up front, perhaps it's just the camera angle.
