In the old days it was best fuel mileage at 80% of maximum torque rpm. I would think it would be near the same now as long as boost was low, don’t think it needs to be zero. Of course I have no specific knowledge but it is easy to look Down at the actual fuel mileage on the dash and see what actually works...

Actually, compared to the previous generations of bronco, the eco boost delivers higher horsepower and better mpg. Similar to my 2016 F-150, definitely better economy than my dad’s 1970 F-150. Are they economical under load? Nope. I don’t think anything is, but better power/economy ratio than the forebears by a country mile.
