Variable cruise control cover part?

This place has been so helpful, appreciate all the threads. The plastic cover for my variable cruise control is cracked. 2 questions for the experts: 1) I can't locate the part for just the plastic cover. Anyone know if this can be ordered without the whole unit? 2) I can't seem to pop it off, perhaps I need to remove my modular bumper to release it? Can someone confirm this for me before I take the whole bumper off unnecessarily.

There are clips on the top side, then it looks like you can remove it. So you probably just have to pull near the top of it decently hard to release them.

Hey @Tor148 are you getting an error message on your dash about the sensor being blocked?

I was able to pop the cover off today and I'm still getting the same error message that adaptive cruise and precollision not available. I am wondering now if the actual sensor was harmed not just the cover panel.

Or Maybe I need to reset something? I tried turning on and off in the settings, still no luck.

Appreciate any suggestions.

No, mine has worked fine since that day, once the ice melted off it!!!
I had forgotten the cover was broken until i saw your post.
I actually ordered the cover last night.
