Under dash ham radio mount

If you are a ham radio operator, odds are good you know about the new Kenwood D750 radio that just hit the market. I ordered a mounting bracket from Mountains to Metal, getting it installed turned out to be quite the challenge. I had already run wires all over the place to locate it under the dash and spent $$$ on mounts for the head, so failure was not an option. It took several attempts, a little blood, and a lot of cursing, but I managed to shoehorn it in place. I'm pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, I have a clutch and can't use that mount, but I think M2M makes one for the other side as well.
I had not heard about the launch of D-750 - bit out of the loop, I tend to use older units - but it looks like a seriously feature-filled bit of kit for a VHF/UHF transceiver.
I don't know if my interior will ever be that busy but I intend to go full porcupine to cover all my bases. Unlike many hams I have no aversion to CB (let them truckers roll!) and I intend to run a separate GMRS radio. I know many will just tune a freebanding VHF/UHF unit to GMRS frequencies and let it fly but that doesn't rub me the right way with regard to FCC regs.

I used the Mountains to Metal mount for my ham radio on the passenger Side and it was easy peasy. I used the drivers side mount for my dash Cam battery. It’s more difficult than the passenger side.. But I put the battery on top of the mount. It looks like yours is underneath it.

I used that same M2M mounting bracket and made a custom dash mount for the head unit for a TYT-9800. I struggled with any other option for the main body mounting, but I've had the radio mounted for about a year and it's been great. I originally got the under dash mounting bracket, but the radio was too big. I then tried Molle panels on the console and that was annoying. Do I see wireless mic receivers mounted on the roof?

Not for a wireless mic, they are pi-star hotspots. One for D-Star and one for DMR. I also have an Allstarlink node. They connect to the Broncos' modem or the Starlink dish.
