UH OH!!! "No compression in cylinder 4"

My '22 V6 Badlands wasn't built during the timeframe when all the valve issues were happening. I've had my Bronco for 3 years and 54k miles with no issues until recently. A few weeks ago my wrench light came on. I didn't notice any change in power/speed/etc. I took it to my dealership last week. Called them today and they said an engine tech is looking at it now because there is no compression in cylinder 4. Am I gonna need a new engine???

Yeah and it would be a lot more than just a change in power.

stuck valve is possibly the cause if really no combustion. but if so, no you don't need a new motor. However, you would certainly notice with no compression (aka no combustion) in a cylinder. I'd ask how they determined, assuming they did a compression test or are they getting from ECM diagnostics (actual ford mechanic guy can fire in here, pun intended)
