Just ordered two knobs from Twisted Shifterz. They are GORGEOUS!

Very high quality and impressive. I got the stainless steel ball with the V1 adapter and an all aluminum with the V2 adapter. Stainless is obviously significantly heavier. Can’t wait to try them when the truck comes! I very highly recommend these. (Quarter in pic for size reference)

(I will say I personally love a very heavy shift knob, like all metal, and don’t mind if they get hot hot hot in the summer, lol)

Now if only they would combine the two………stainless steel and V2………..😁

These look really nice! I have the weighted knob by Boomba and it did make the shifting experience much better. My fiancé even said she loves the weighted shift knob compared to the factory one she had in her old mustang.

any feedback after a few months? Is the aluminum much heavier than the OEM knob? I too wish they had a stainless option with the V2. Might wait and see what the Archetype Racing knobs end up like. Thanks in advance!

Honestly I have only used the stainless one and I LOVE it! It’s the heaviest knob I could find (over a pound) and it makes a dramatic difference.

The aluminum one is definitely heavier than the stock knob.

How do these knobs from twisted shifter work regarding the spring-loaded safety for crawl and reverse?

nothing changes regarding that, the adapter just raises the knob ever so slightly

Here's what I found - I mounted my twisted shifter to my red Bronco today with red numbers on the white knob and a small blue white ball with blue numbers on my Miata which has blue highlights. The shifters to me are first rate very well built and here's my feeling on the crawl and reverse mechanism. When I first to drove my Bronco I noticed that I would somtimes pull up on the mechanism and wind up in reverse instead of first talk about a scary situation. The new throw is a little longer so it makes going into crawl or reverse much more safe in my opinion.
go all the way to the left and up accidentally pulling on the release mechanism and starting to go in reverse instead of first. That was scary. The twisted shifter knob gives you a slightly longer reach thus making it more intentional effort to lock into crawl or reverse.

Nice! Same one I have in my HE! Never had an issue before with the lockout you describe but I guess the height has some advantage to keep you away from engaging the ring. Supposedly they're working on a factory height adapter for the cue ball shifters, the offerings they have now at factory height don't work for them.

Another thing and please don't take this the wrong way but I did not like the way that plastic cap makes the leather knob felt in my hand. the ball is just so much smoother and glassy and it just feels right. I'm old school 63 and now we spelled stick shifts should have round balls.

The factory height white cue ball is exactly what I have been waiting for and they have them now. Placed my order earlier today! 😀
