Driver side (picture).I think it happened backing up to adjust a line while in a boulder field, got hung up. Palo Duro Canyon. Heck, I had the DV8 armor that couples this mount to the trailing arm sitting in a box to mount the next day while on the trip, to help strengthen the whole assembly.
It’s not noticeably affecting the ride and is not binding. When I do a shock upgrade I’ll get it fixed, in the meantime does anyone know a Ford Part Number for that bracket? We don’t think cutting it off, heating/straightening and re-welding it on is the way to go due to it being nearly creased.
Probably a stretch and it is built into the axle housing assembly, but figured I’d put the question out there in case it shows in that blow-up manual many refer to. If not then we fab somethIng. Thanks -
