I would use Sport, and then manually select 2H (since Sasquatch forces you to have the advanced transfer case that switched to 2A.)

Main reason would be that Sport keeps gears longer, and lower. On a stick shift, I honestly forget the GOAT modes are even there.

Having towed in tow mode on the BRaptor, I would say Sport Mode is the closest equivalent. Both from a shift point and down shift point of view.

I started with towing in Normal, then switched to Sport. I was towing a Uhaul double axle trailer. I don't recall the transmission temps, but they dropped a good 10 degrees or so while in Sport. Less shifting while under load.

Well hell. Wish I'd have thought of looking at gages versus the "seat of the pants" o-meter. Science. Thanks for the data, incompleteas it was. Listen to this guy versus the d-bag whose ringing endorsement of sport mode amounts to "feels better."

I pulled a heavy offroad truck on an equipment trailer many moons ago. So not a novice but not an expert. I did install a trans temp gage in my 2500 Ram and thankfully it kept me from roasting the transmission when pulling some steep grades. I changed fluid after serious trips and my stepfather is still driving it with over 300k miles on the original transmission. Taught me to keep an eye on transmission temp.
