Top Three Annoyances

My top 3.

1). Honks at me when I leave it running and get out and close the door. Especially annoying at a gas station. (yes I leave it running, bite me Karen lol)

2). Honks at me when I leave it running and don’t fully close the door (so it won’t honk) and go to the other side and open and close that door. HONK HONK

3). See 1 and 2 above.

I don’t experience the annoyances mentioned- I find the tech-no-shit very annoying (not exclusive to the Bronco)
1. Auto stop start
2. Car play audio setting when never wanted.
3. Display screens that just pop up unrequested.

4. Rear seats don’t lie flat when down - really Ford? Jeeps have it.

BUT love the Bronco so these annoyances are just another opportunity to cuss!

1. CarPlay drops audio during call, i fix this by grabbing my phone and switching to speaker phone then back to carplay.

I slam my knee into the switch all the time. I'm always wondering why my awesome Diode Dynamics fog lights are always off, and it's because I knock the switch constantly.

I run in sport mode almost always so ASS is a non issue. When I start up it asks if I want to return to Sport mode, which turns ASS off.

I just trained myself to get out differently. Instead of ”leading with my knee”, now I keep my right knee low and swing my foot out first. After a while it just becomes habitual. (It’s still a bad location for the knob, though…)

I think it is really based off how your seat is adjusted. My seat is fairly far back, and I never hit my knee on the knob. I notice when I need to drive my daugter's Cruze I constantly hit it getting in because she is 5'2" on a good day and the seat is so far up. The knob is basically in the same place. I know it's not apples to apples.

Spoken from a non wrangler owner--lol. Maybe they're there and I just don't notice them since in the jeep the frequency and how loud you needed to turn the tunes up to hear them let you know the condition of the road.

1. Permanently shutting off the “Hands on Steering Wheel” driving distraction?

2. A solution for the “knee hitting the headlight switch” issue? Probably an “is what it is”, but thought I’d check.

3. Better ventilation in the cargo area for my fur babies. I have the underseat vent mods and a seat-mounted USB fan from Amazon, but there is literally zero airflow back there!

Can't stand the front window "slap"!

7MT driver here. My single biggest annoyance is the ridiculous unreadable Tachometer display in the dash cluster.

Hey Ford, its SOFTWARE for crying out loud.

You probably have summer interns who could bust out a good radial Tach display during their lunch hour if you gave them access.

I know there are only, what?, 10% or so 7MT Broncos, but have a heart.

no back vents ....terrible lights ..my sas sends water straight onto windshield every puddle

1. The horrible rain gutters on the soft top. Rain water runs into the the cabin if I open the door or crack the window. It REALLY sucks.

2. For some reason my AC will just start blowing harder randomly at HWY speeds. The fan will be set to 1 but just for kicks it will start blowing heavy with no change is fan speed on the system. Grrrrr...

3. Not being able to fully see out the rear view mirror with the soft top down. I have to rely on my side mirrors.

I've never experienced my Bronco asking me to put my Hands on the Steering Wheel? Is this only certain packages?

As for the double honk, you guys must new to Ford. My Focus ST has it, never really bothered me. I do find it funny that it is complained about a lot from Bronco owners, but not so much over on the FoST/FiST forums.

Agree on #1 and #2, can't speak to #3 because I have a hard top.

As for the double-honk, it's just stupid. Example: I dropped off a passenger, left Bronco running, had key in pocket. Both driver and passenger doors opened, we both got out. Passenger closed door (driver door NOT closed), Bronco double-honked. No shit, Ford, I know I have the key in my pocket, that's why I left the driver's side door open. Why double-honk in that situation???

Not to mention all the other notifications/alarms that pop up constantly. Parking brake released, door opened, it goes on and on and on. Once again, "No shit, Ford." I'm the one that released the brake. I'm the one that opened the door. Same on most (all) new cars I've experienced, but Ford is particularly a pain in the ass.
