Just a quick question for my other bronco drivers do you wave to other broncos that pass you or no? I always wave and I have noticed that very few will actually wave back! I would like to know what everyone else does???
i always wave. Used to ride motorcycles, then Miata's and back then, everyone waved. now, its hit or miss. most times as i pass i see the other driver looking down at his / her phone. The world has changed.....

I wave the appropriate gesture depending on their gen of Bronco. For 6G, I give them a thumbs up, because that forms the shape of a 6. If we make eye contact and my gesture is ignored or returned with an obscene gesture, I cast a hex on them which normally results in their wipers stop working right, or if they have a manual transmission, it immediately starts making an odd grinding noise (although no damage actually occurs).

We ALWAYS wave. I’d say we get a wave back from 75% of our fellow travelers. My wife gets super pissed when a member of our extended Bronco family does not wave back. So if you see a feisty redhead riding shotgun indicating she’s your #1 fan, it's probably bc you didn’t wave back. 😅🤣

I'm not sure how waving became a jeep thing. I've had an original Bronco for 40years and have always waved at other Bronco owners. Now that I now have a 6g Bronco it was only natural to continue waving......Nobody waves back :(.

It doesn't make me angry, or upset, at least nothing that years of therapy won't fix. lol
It’s definitely not a Jeep thing. My dad pointed out to me in the ‘80’s that all the Corvette guys had been waving at each other for decades and that was 40 yrs ago. And when I rode back in my 20’s pretty much all the bikers from cruisers to rice rockets would wave at each other.

Yeah, not doing it. I had a Neon rental car once while my Mustang was getting some performance parts added (back in the 90's!), and everyone, I mean EVERYONE with a stupid Neon honked and waved! It was the most annoying 2 weeks of my life, lol.

My wife and I point to the other Bronco and say "Bronco."

It's a carryover from when broncos were few and far between and we were still waiting for ours to arrive.
Same here, except now it's kind of competition to see who can identify more specs (Black Diamond, Sasquatch package, etc.)

How about hand signals to convey what is wrong with your Bronco?

Wave = wipers not working correctly
Thumb down = shock reservoir fell off

I'll leave the rest for y'all to ponder.
Vulcan wave = suspension bracket cracked.
🖖

Grinding fist into palm = manual transmission is grinding.

Doing the end part part of the Baymax fist bump = 2.7 valve went into orbit.

Spooled, that’s why your ass is still stuck in that damn canyon in your avatar. Damn Braptor needs some Ozempic! :ROFLMAO:
Not pictured was me having to reverse out and remove a flare to squeeze through and also scratching another up. 1 way trail and didn't have a choice. Those whole time I was telling myself "I should have just bought the 2Dr Badlands like originally planned".
