Hey all,

My tires need to be replaced and was looking for some suggestions. My OBX is my daily driver (mostly highway) and I don't do much off reading. Looking for a good replacement set that won't break the bank.

Get whatever tires you want, should not make any difference what you read or do not read. ;)

Not happy with the Goodyear Territory Mats on my Sasquatch. But very pleased with the Yokohama Geolander AT’s ive had on my Excursion. The suggestion for Discount Tire was a great one. Excellent service and they’ll exchange tires in the first 30 days or so if you hate what you buy from them.

The Goodyear Sasquatch tire is only $250 per tire and, even better, it weighs only 55 lbs.

Totally underrated on this forum.

Most people are adding about 15 lbs. per tire, i.e., 60 lbs. of unsprung weight, when they “upgrade” their tires.

Glad to hear the the Yokohama's are performing as expected! Thank you for your patronage. Much appreciated!

Yep I'm happy so far with the used 35" Territories I put on my base Bronco, along with some 26lbs Ranger wheels. Heavy Sas wheels + heavier 35" tires can have a performance hit.

Overall some Bronco versions are 800lbs heavier than my base 2-door. I wonder what it's like lugging around an extra 800lbs all the time.

Yeah but I have seen them get sliced open by a gravel road

I've been quite pleased with my General AT/x I think they are. Stock on the Black Diamond. A year and a half in, 18k miles...they hold air great, wearing great. Will replace with same.
