Theft or incompetence?

Purchased a 4/7 pin trailer harness from Ford accessories and couldn’t wait to install. Then I received my package directly from Ford accessories. See videos attached. Has anyone had this experience before and how long before Ford will refund me? It’s been 2 full weeks and 3 phone calls. They say it’s under “investigation“. Is this Ford shipping me an empty box or did FedEx steal my harness and re-tape the box?

Yes, it does have a weight. 1.788 kg or around 3.9 pounds.

Not everyone weighs every package. Many DCs ship based of the expected weight of the picked products. No idea why it didn't get in the box, but Ford should know who picked the harness and who packed the carton and be able to investigate.

I know you all just wanna dump on Ford, but this is most likely theft. Thieves are getting more creative and brazen all the time. Unfortunately with the legalization of theft in many areas, package theft has become a huge problem. There are even videos of FedEx drivers stealing their own package after taking the proof of delivery photo.

You're absolutely right, Unions have a history of sabotaging their own product. And they want us to believe that line how much they have sacrificed, at the same time demanding a 32 hour work week. Yeah right, do they think we were born yesterday? Next time I'm going to avoid anything UAW. Hello Toyota.
