I’ve never actually cooked anything on an engine but warmed up a few tacos that way.

We did this all the time back in my manual labor days lol. We'd throw the leftover breakfast tacos on the pump motor and have a warm lunch ready for us.

Never used the engine bay, but I used to work in an empty warehouse without even a bathroom. I would put my lunch on the dashboard and by lunch it would be nice and toasty.
