26 in Baton Rouge. We are so unaccustomed to sustained freezing and icy roads, its like a state of emergency. Kids were already out of school through Wednesday (we have Mardi Gras holiday), lots of businesses were closed midday yesterday. I spent the night at the plant where I work last night, "freeze coverage". Waiting to see if they will "allow" my relief to come in, or if I'm stuck here another day or two. Yeah, as a state, we are apparently kinda bad and ill equipped at driving in this shit.

We've not been above 20 since Christmas, and now shovelling about the 36th inch of snow as I figure. And since it's not melted....there's no where for it to go!

Not sure I'm going to call it winning ... -20F with a -35F wind-chill this morning.

Yesterday was -30F with a -45F wind-chill.
I hope you have a nice warm spot for your new bronco. If you put it outside that is bronco abuse.

Same here. Were at least out of school until Thursday. Texas is no different. We are not prepared for this at all.
