Takeoff Sasquatch from 2.7 on a 2.3?

I have a really good deal from a shop that has Sasquatch suspension from a 2.7 4 door. I will be receiving by bronco in the next week or so. I have a 4 door black diamond 2.3. I want to know if it would be ok to install the Sasquatch suspension from the 2.7 on my 2.3?

Yes, should be fine.

The only issue is the spring rates may not match up. 2.7L is obviously a heavier engine than the 2.3L, and therefore those takeoffs likely come with stiffer springs from the factory than what would normally come on a 2.3L Black Diamond.

Which means your ride quality may not be the most ideal, but it's only an issue if you care about that sorta thing.

That was what I was thinking but I was think also the black diamond weighs more than the OBX by a little bit much.

It'll depend if that OBX had the HD modular bumper. If it did, then I suspect the fronts will be a little on the stiff side. If it had the standard plastic bumper the weights probably will line up nicely given you have a steel bumper and bash plates.

(or you could find out how the donor vehicle was optioned out.
if it started as a badlands w/ mod bumpers and auto transmission, it'll definitely be stiffer)

It was an OBX 2.7 4 door no tow and plastic bumper.

It'll be stiff and the front will be level or slightly above the rear especially with anything on/in the back. I'd try to find some badland 2.3 take offs or at least the springs. I have a 2.3 BD, added squash 2.7s and it rode ok, but when I put my bike rack on, it was squatted. I put the 2.3 BL fronts on and now its level or slight fwd rake, and rides much better. Make sure you get an alignment too.

The main reason is I am getting the takeoffs and running boards for $250. I was going to resell the running board because I already have them. So it would almost be free.

The shop sent a picture and it came off a wildtrak? Do they come with those shocks? I thought they had Fox.

some of the wildtracks had the fox/3.0. that's a smoking deal, i'd do it either way and sort out the front springs. I haven't found a PN for a 2.3 w/ squash yet tho...
